I am not a Sikh, although I’m considered a ‘legacy instructor’ because of my decades of serving as a Kundalini yoga teacher. Yogi Bhajan directly gave me the name Dharmatma, path of the soul. I am certified through the International Kundalini Teachers Association—IKTA.

Kundalini Yoga/Meditation

The Yoga of Awareness

People of all levels come to my classes. I carefully guide you so you will experience the full benefit of healing energy. We warm up, clear the aura, set the energy with the Adi Mantra, utilize pranayama (exchanging prana with apana), do a specific kriya for a healing benefit, and close with a meditation. Students are glowing by the end of our session!

Kundalini Yoga and Meditation is considered a ‘raja’ (royal) yoga integrating asana (posture), pranayama (breath), mantra (sacred sounds), and mudra (hand postures) in specific sets called ‘kriyas’. After searching many different yoga systems in search of something that would be transformative, I discovered Kundalini Yoga in 1983, was trained and have been teaching ever since.

Please arrive a little early, dress comfortably, and refrain from eating 1.5 to 2.0 hours before class. These classes are in the tradition of Yogi Bhajan’s teachings: asana (posture), pranayama (breath), mudra (hand postures), and mantra (sacred mantras). Through specific kriyas your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health will balance and strengthen.
